PBBM hopes Filipinos will have a meaningful observance of Undas

Malacañang released a message for the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

In a statement, the Palace said that during this time, Filipinos are reminded that those who have passed away did not disappear without purpose, as they continue to live on in the hearts and minds of the people.

It also noted that these days remind everyone of the paradise that awaits all—where suffering, pain, and hardship will no longer be experienced.

President Bongbong Marcos added that the Philippines should serve as a “lamp upon a hill,” where Filipinos carry the memory of their departed loved ones as a source of strength.

In the end, the government expressed hope that everyone will have a meaningful Undas observance.
