Pasig City continues to top the official medal tally of Batang Pinoy 2025 as the games draw to a close in General Santos City.
After a system correction confirmed by the Technical Working Group (TWG), Pasig retained its dominant position with 26 gold, 16 silver, and 23 bronze medals.
The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) reminded all delegations to rely on verified updates posted at batangpinoy.psc.gov.ph.
Athletes and fans now shift their focus to the Closing Ceremony happening at the Antonio C. Acharon Sports Complex on October 30, 2025 (Thursday), with the assembly at 2 PM, pre-show at 5 PM, and grand closing at 6 PM.
All delegates are required to wear their official team tracksuits.
Earlier this week, the TWG issued an erratum acknowledging a technical and system error that affected Baguio City’s medal count in the October 29 update.
After verification and recalibration at 12:00 PM, the corrected results were released publicly, ensuring transparency and fairness.
The TWG also urged continued vigilance in reporting accurate results and thanked all LGUs for maintaining the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the competition.
As Batang Pinoy 2025 wraps up on October 31, organizers expect an energetic closing night featuring tributes to athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
Pasig City aims to defend its overall lead while Manila, Baguio, and Quezon City push for late surges in their respective events.
With the theme “Grassroots to Gold, Gold to Greatness,” the youth games continue to embody Filipino pride and the promise of tomorrow’s champions.
