PAF holds departure honors for fallen Super Huey crash personnel

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) held departure honors for the six Air Force personnel who died in the Super Huey helicopter crash in Loreto, Agusan del Sur.

The ceremony took place at the Tactical Operations Wing Eastern Mindanao in Sasa, Davao City.

The remains of one of the fatalities, Sgt. Yves B. Sijub PAF, have been brought to General Santos City.

The other fallen heroes include pilot Captain Paulie B. Dumagan PAF, Second Lieutenant Royce Louis G. Camigla PAF, and aircrew members Sergeant John Christopher C. Golfo PAF, Airman First Class Ericson R. Merico PAF, and Airman Ameer Khaidar T. Apion PAF.

The Air Force continues to mourn with the families and loved ones of the victims. The PAF said the bravery and unwavering dedication of the fallen personnel stand as a testament to their honorable service.

Their legacy, it added, will continue to inspire future generations.
