Minimum wage earners in Metro Manila will receive a P60 increase in their daily wages starting today, September 26, 2026.
Under Wage Order No. NCR-28, the wage hike will be implemented based on the new minimum wage rates, benefiting around 1.1 million workers.
The daily minimum wage for workers in the non-agricultural sector will increase to P755.
Meanwhile, the minimum wage will be set at P718 per day for agricultural workers, service and retail establishments with 15 or fewer employees, and manufacturing firms with fewer than 10 workers.
The Department of Labor and Employment reminded employers to strictly comply with the provisions of the wage order to ensure the proper implementation of the new minimum wage rates.
