He also announced that assistance programs have been prepared for sectors affected by the global crisis, including drivers, workers, farmers, and fishermen.
According to Marcos, these measures are intended to ease the burden on those whose livelihoods may be affected by higher fuel costs and economic pressures linked to the international situation.
The President added that the government continues to monitor conditions in the Middle East and their potential impact on the country’s energy resources and economic stability.
Marcos also confirmed that repatriation efforts remain ongoing for Filipinos abroad who may be affected by the situation in the Middle East.
He said the government continues to provide care and assistance to overseas Filipinos as part of its response to the ongoing crisis.
The Chief Executive emphasized that the government remains ready to assist Filipinos and respond to their needs during the current global challenges.
Marcos reiterated that ensuring the welfare of citizens remains a priority as authorities continue to implement measures aimed at minimizing the effects of the oil crisis on daily life and livelihoods.
