Malacañang denies alleged desire of PBBM to reconcile with VP Sara

Malacañang has strongly denied claims made by former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. wants to reconcile with Vice President Sara Duterte.

In a video post on Facebook yesterday, Roque said that based on their confidential source, President Marcos is seeking to reach out and make peace with the vice president.

He added that he knows VP Sara well and claimed that she is no longer open to reconciliation.

In response, Malacañang dismissed the claim, saying, “kasinungalingan na naman! (another lie)”

According to Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, this is the problem with the vice president — alleging that she is quick to believe Roque’s so-called “beauty parlor stories,” which she described as frequent sources of fake news.

Castro added that if VP Sara refuses reconciliation, it reveals her true colors.

She further said that the vice president is an unusual kind of public servant, claiming that instead of helping, she is causing harm.
