More than 2.38 million Filipinos have registered to vote in this year’s Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), based on the latest data from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
This figure is nearly double the projected 1.4 million new voters expected for the upcoming polls.
Region IV-A (CALABARZON) recorded the highest number of registrants with 424,454, followed by Central Luzon with 280,637, and the National Capital Region (NCR) with 253,202 registrants.
Meanwhile, 3,279 applicants registered through the Special Register Anywhere Program (SRAP) site at the Comelec main office in Intramuros, Manila.
Voter registration resumed on October 20, 2025, and is set to run until May 18 of this year.
