Lowering Prices Still the Top Concern Among Filipinos

Most Filipinos want President Bongbong Marcos to focus on bringing down the cost of goods, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The survey revealed that 56% of respondents identified the reduction of prices of rice and other food products as the issue that should be given immediate attention by the administration.

Meanwhile, 31% of respondents believe the government should prioritize addressing corruption.

Other key issues cited by Filipinos include improving education and healthcare facilities, while a small portion of respondents said they had no opinion on the matter.

According to Stratbase Group President Prof. Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit, the results send a strong message to the government — to never lose sight of inflation and to ensure food security, while also strengthening transparency and accountability in governance.
