Impounded motorcycle allegedly used by traffic enforcement personnel

A resident raised serious concerns after he allegedly saw personnel from the Traffic Enforcement Unit using his impounded motorcycle.

The owner, identified as Tristan Jayford Laude, publicly expressed his complaint through a post on social media.

Laude said authorities impounded his motorcycle on February 28, 2026 due to a reportedly modified muffler.

However, just one day later, he discovered through photographs that a TEU member allegedly used the same motorcycle.

He stated that the photo was taken on March 1 while the vehicle remained under official custody.

Laude questioned whether any official authorization allowed personnel to use his motorcycle inside the city impounding area.

He expressed fear that possible damage or additional issues could occur while the vehicle stayed outside his supervision.

He added that the agency carries the responsibility to safeguard and properly maintain all vehicles placed under impoundment.

Laude urged concerned officials to address his concerns promptly to prevent further public speculation and mistrust.

As of this writing, the Traffic Enforcement Unit has not released any official statement regarding the allegation.
