Husband killed, wife injured in three-vehicle crash in Bacolod

A husband was killed and his wife injured in a three-vehicle collision in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City, shortly after midnight on Oct. 9.

Initial investigation showed that a pickup truck struck the couple’s tricycle before hitting the rear of a passenger jeepney traveling in the same direction.

Authorities said heavy rain may have prevented the pickup driver from immediately noticing the tricycle ahead.
