Several groups marched to the office of the Department of Justice (DOJ) to call for the dismissal of sedition and inciting to sedition complaints filed against youth leaders in connection with the large-scale rally held on September 21.

Based on police records, more than 200 individuals were arrested following the unrest that broke out during the anti-corruption rally.

Meanwhile, before the end of January, a bystander who is facing sedition and inciting to sedition complaints filed a counter-affidavit with the DOJ.

In relation to this, Kabataan party-list Representative Renee Co said authorities seem to be acting swiftly in going after ordinary citizens to intimidate them, while allegedly having difficulty pursuing the masterminds of corruption and holding them accountable.
