Early registration in public schools begins

Early registration in public schools nationwide officially began today.

In an announcement, the Department of Education (DepEd) said the registration covers incoming Kindergarten pupils, as well as students entering Grades 1, 7, and 11 for School Year 2026–2027.

According to the agency, early registration is important as it helps schools determine the expected number of enrollees for the coming school year.

This, in turn, allows schools to plan properly and assess whether their resources will be sufficient.
