The Department of Education (DepEd) is preparing to further expand the use of DepEd TV to support the learning of students affected by disasters.
In a statement, DepEd said it is already coordinating with the Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. and Solar Learning to align lessons with broadcast-based instruction.
Through this initiative, students will be able to continue their studies in evacuation centers and affected communities where classes, electricity, and internet services have been disrupted.
According to the agency, DepEd TV will be accessible across various platforms, including Digital Free TV, cable television, Direct-to-Home (DTH) satellite services, and others.
DepEd assured that it will air an updated or “bug-fixed” version of DepEd TV and will conduct a comprehensive review of its programming schedule.
