Comelec approves accreditation of 10 parties for BARMM elections

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has approved the accreditation of 10 regional parliamentary political parties set to participate in the 2026 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.

According to Comelec, these parties are now eligible to take part in the upcoming polls on September 14 after their petitions and supporting documents were found to be “sufficient in form.”

The poll body added that the groups complied with all documentary and publication requirements under the relevant Comelec resolution.

The accredited parties are:

  • Bangsamoro Party
  • Bangsamoro Tri-Peoples Party
  • Bangsamoro People’s Democratic Party
  • Bangsamoro Empowerment and Social Transformation Party
  • Progresibong Bangsamoro Party
  • Bangsamoro People’s Party
  • Bangsamoro Federalist Party
  • Bangsamoro Grand Coalition
  • Moro Ako Party
  • Indigenous, Settlers, Sama and Minorities Alliance Party
