Kitty Duterte shared updates on the daily activities of former President Rodrigo Duterte while being held at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
In a video posted on the Facebook page of Alvin and Tourism, Kitty said her father spends most of his time watching television and reading books. He also often looks out the window.
Although access to Philippine news is limited inside the facility, she said the former president is still able to keep track of international developments.
Kitty also shared that her father is showing signs of aging, including declining memory, physical weakness, and slower movement.
When asked about the ICC case, she declined to give any comment.
She added that their family plans to continue visiting the former president until he is able to return to the Philippines, with visits to be done on a rotational basis, including with his grandchildren.
Meanwhile, the ICC’s Pre-Trial Chamber I has formally confirmed all charges related to crimes against humanity against Duterte, paving the way for a full trial.
