Two-time Olympic and Asian Games gold medalist Carlos Yulo happily shared details of his wedding proposal to his longtime partner, Chloe San Jose.
In an Instagram post, Yulo revealed that the couple had kept their special milestone private for nine months before finally sharing the news with the public.
“Nine months ago… she said yes. And all I can say and all I can feel is that I am truly blessed,” Yulo wrote.
“Blessed to love you. Blessed to be loved by you. Blessed to have you as my fiancé and soon, as my forever,” he added.
Meanwhile, San Jose detailed the proposal in a YouTube video, giving fans a glimpse of the romantic setup at a resort adorned with candlelight and flowers.
“For nine months, we’ve been treasuring this beautiful secret between us, quietly smiling to ourselves and taking our time to cherish it, knowing that one day we’d finally share it with the world,” San Jose said.
Yulo and San Jose have been in a relationship since 2020.
