Three killed in separate attacks on Saudi airports

Three people were killed and 36 others were injured in separate attacks on two airports in Saudi Arabia, as fighting intensifies in Yemen.

According to Saudi civil aviation authorities, one person was killed and eight others were wounded in an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, while two people were killed and 28 others were injured at Abha Airport.

Authorities said the two attacks took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, although they did not specify which incident occurred on each day.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition vowed retaliation and said it had launched strikes against more than 80 Houthi military sites in several parts of Yemen.

Houthi forces also targeted Aden International Airport, where a ballistic missile landed near the runway just minutes before a flight from Cairo was scheduled to land.
