Jaja Santiago-Minowa is set to begin a new chapter in her volleyball career as she heads to the United States to play for the San Francisco Signal in League One Volleyball.
The veteran middle blocker returns to the U.S. carrying renewed confidence and fond memories from her recent stint in the Philippines.
Before making the move, Santiago made a brief return to the Premier Volleyball League, suiting up for the Creamline Cool Smashers.
The 2026 PVL Invitational Best Middle Blocker said her time with Creamline helped rebuild her confidence and prepare her for the next challenge.
Santiago admitted feeling nervous ahead of her upcoming stint in San Francisco, particularly over doubts about the level of performance she can deliver.
Still, she remains confident and believes she is in good shape and ready to take on the challenge.
She also said she will bring with her the lessons, challenges, and cherished memories she gained from her PVL teammates as she begins her new journey in LOVB.
