A horrifying discovery was made at the Sorsogon Catholic Cemetery in Barangay Almendras, where a 70-year-old woman was found lifeless and naked on top of a tomb.
Authorities suspect that the elderly woman was raped before being murdered by two suspects identified as Vincent Docot, 28, and Roger Lyndon Belen, 35. Both suspects are now in police custody.
Initial investigations by the Sorsogon City Police revealed that the suspects allegedly robbed the victim before committing the heinous act. The woman’s body has been sent for autopsy to confirm the cause of death and gather more evidence.
Police reported that both suspects would undergo drug testing as part of the ongoing investigation. Criminal charges have already been filed against them. This disturbing case has sparked outrage among local residents, who demand swift justice for the victim.
