Man dies after slamming motorcycle into road railings

A 56-year-old man was killed in a self-accident early Thursday after his motorcycle collided with road railings in Barangay Alambre, Toril, Davao City.

Authorities identified the victim as Nolasco Lastimosa, a resident of Purok 2, Alambre, Toril, Davao City.

The incident occurred around 2:18 a.m. while the vehicle was traveling from Barangay Lubogan toward Barangay Camansi. According to initial investigations by the Davao City Police Office-Traffic Enforcement Unit (DCPO-TEU), Lastimosa lost control of the handle grip after hitting road railings at Purok 3.

The collision caused him to fall onto the pavement, sustaining severe injuries. Responding paramedics from Central 911 found him without a pulse. He was declared dead by Dr. Radam.
