₱4M illegal drugs seized in Davao City parcel warehouse

Authorities seized millions of pesos worth of illegal drugs believed to have been shipped through parcel delivery into Davao City following a warehouse raid in Barangay San Isidro, Bunawan.

The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in coordination with the National Bureau of Investigation and the Philippine National Police.

During the raid, authorities recovered various marijuana products, including marijuana kush, marijuana rolls and bricks, as well as vape pens containing marijuana oil. The seized items were estimated to have a total value of nearly 4 million pesos, according to law enforcement officials.

Investigators said the illegal drugs were discovered inside parcels stored at the warehouse of a well-known delivery company. The shipment was allegedly intended for distribution within Davao City.

All confiscated drugs are now under the custody of PDEA – XI for proper documentation and further investigation.

Authorities are currently working to identify the individuals or groups responsible for sending and receiving the illegal shipments. The delivery company involved has not been publicly named as the investigation continues.

Law enforcement officials said the operation is part of intensified efforts to curb the entry and distribution of illegal drugs through courier and parcel services, which have increasingly been used by traffickers to avoid detection.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities said additional details will be released once available.
