A 20-year-old man died instantly after his motorcycle crashed into a car during an alleged drag race along Sinsuat Street, Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City, around 1:30 a.m.

CCTV footage confirmed that the car was slowly changing lanes when the fast-approaching motorcycle collided with it, causing the rider to be thrown off impact. Witnesses said the victim appeared to have been performing a “Superman” stunt—a risky maneuver where riders stretch out flat while racing.

The fatal crash ended days of speculation about how the victim died, with police confirming overspeeding and drag racing as likely causes.
