The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to provide aid to those affected by the strong earthquake in Cebu.
As part of the second wave of assistance, the agency delivered an additional 2,000 family food packs (FFPs) to families in the town of Tabogon who are still recovering from the tragedy.
In addition, the DSWD conducted a psychosocial support activity for women in Medellin.
According to the agency, the initiative aims to provide a safe space and sufficient emotional support to help women cope with the stress and trauma brought by the disaster.
Meanwhile, inside the child-friendly space (CFS), the DSWD held a therapeutic art activity for internally displaced children (IDPs) staying at the Tinubdan Evacuation Center in San Fernando, Cebu.
