Vice President Sara Duterte expressed gratitude to everyone who continues to support her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte.
This comes just days after the International Criminal Court (ICC) denied their request for the former president’s interim release.
In an interview in The Hague, Netherlands, VP Sara said she and her father did not discuss the rejection of their appeal.
She added that their conversation instead focused on family and politics.
The Vice President also shared that she told the older Duterte about the supporters waiting outside the ICC despite the cold weather.
According to her, the former president said he has long received messages from his supporters and advised them not to compromise their health.
