Tiger Woods has made his new relationship official. The golf legend confirmed on Sunday that he is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., ending weeks of speculation.
Woods shared the news with a heartfelt post on X, formerly Twitter, accompanied by two photos of the couple. In one image, the pair can be seen relaxing on a hammock, wearing sunglasses, as Woods gazes at the sky.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” Woods wrote. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
Vanessa Trump’s Connection to Woods
Vanessa Trump, 46, was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years. The former couple shares five children, including 17-year-old Kai Trump, an aspiring golfer who has committed to playing at the University of Miami.
Kai has already been seen alongside Woods at golf events. In February, she was his guest at the Genesis Invitational, an annual tournament he hosts. Additionally, Kai and Woods’ two children, Charlie and Sam, all attend the Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida.
Their families appear to have a strong connection, fueling speculation about Woods and Vanessa Trump’s relationship long before his official confirmation.
Woods’ Injury and Uncertain Return to Golf
While Woods’ personal life is making headlines, his professional future remains uncertain. Earlier this month, the 15-time major champion revealed that he ruptured his left Achilles tendon while training at his Florida home. He underwent surgery and is now in recovery.
This injury raises questions about his return to the PGA Tour. The Masters, one of the most prestigious tournaments in golf, is set to begin on April 10. Woods had initially planned to make his season debut at the Genesis Invitational in February but withdrew following the passing of his mother.
Despite his absence from the PGA Tour, Woods has stayed involved in competitive golf through TGL events in Florida. However, it remains unclear when he will be ready to compete at full strength.
As he recovers, Woods’ new relationship adds a fresh chapter to his life both on and off the course.
