A teenage boy was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by a man inside a computer shop in Barangay Lagao, General Santos City, following a heated confrontation over body odor.
According to police, the victim had told the suspect to leave the computer shop because of his “strong armpit odor.” This remark allegedly triggered the suspect, leading to the violent attack.
The suspect voluntarily surrendered to authorities shortly after the incident and handed over the knife used in the stabbing.
Police revealed that the suspect has a prior record of theft complaints and is now in the custody of Bahay Pag-asa, a facility for juvenile offenders. Meanwhile, the victim is undergoing treatment in the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
