A 15-year-old boy was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after the motorcycle he was driving collided head-on with a car in Barangay Ginablan, Badian on Friday night, June 27.
The victim was identified as Jan, a resident of Barangay Poblacion. His twin brother Luis, who was riding as a passenger, was injured along with another back rider.
The car involved was a yellow vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man identified only as “Alias Joey,” who had two passengers at the time of the incident.
According to the initial investigation by the Badian Municipal Police Station, the motorcycle was reportedly heading home when it crossed the lane and hit the oncoming car.
Due to the impact of the crash, all three motorcycle riders were thrown off the vehicle. The front portion of the car was also heavily damaged.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision.
