Police have arrested a suspect involved in a shooting incident that erupted over a noisy motorcycle exhaust during a Christmas celebration early morning on December 25, 2024.
The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Daryl, allegedly shot Christopher Comeros, a resident of Barangay Calumpang, General Santos City. The victim sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to a hospital, while the suspect fled the scene.
In a follow-up hot pursuit operation, authorities from Police Station 10 located the suspect in Purok Lower Acharon, Barangay Calumpang. Reports indicate that the suspect was armed at the time of his capture.
The police successfully apprehended the suspect, who is now in custody as investigations continue.
