A 37-year-old man with a disability (PWD) was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head along the Transcentral Highway in Sitio San Miguel, Barangay Taptap, Cebu City, around 6 a.m. on Saturday, February 8.
Authorities identified the victim as Charlie, also known as “Aye,” a resident of Sitio Wangyu Alaska, Barangay Mambaling.
According to his mother, armed men broke into their home around 3 a.m., looking for her daughter. When they did not find her, they took Charlie instead. She pleaded with them not to harm him, as he was a PWD, but the suspects ignored her.

Two hours later, Charlie’s lifeless body was discovered in Barangay Taptap, bearing a gunshot wound to the head.
