PRC thanks volunteers for service during the Traslacion

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) recognized the sacrifice and solidarity shown by its volunteers during the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

After more than 48 hours in the field, the volunteers and staff remained unwavering in their spirit of service, the PRC said.

As of 7:30 a.m. today, a total of 849 patients have already been assisted by the agency since January 8.

In addition, 2,204 devotees were provided with welfare assistance along the Traslacion route.

PRC Chairman Richard J. Gordon said he salutes the volunteers for their resilience, time, compassion, and commitment to humanitarian service.
