According to the PRC, its volunteers have already responded in Camalig, Guinobatan, Legazpi City, and Daraga, providing photographic documentation and situational updates to their operations center.

The organization said it continues to coordinate with local authorities and disaster response agencies to ensure the safety of residents in the Bicol Region.

The PRC has also intensified its advisory for residents to wear face masks, protect their eyes from ash, and avoid sweeping ashfall.

Residents are further advised to stay indoors and ensure that their drinking water and food are safe.
