PCG to Place Units on Heightened Alert for Undas

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is now preparing for Undas 2025.

PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil L. Gavan has ordered all operating units to be placed on heightened alert from October 30 to November 4.

PCG Districts, Stations, and Sub-Stations will ramp up monitoring and assistance operations in all ports and waterways across the country.

In coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), the PCG will also man DOTr Malasakit Help Desks in major ports, harbors, and public transport hubs nationwide.

Coast Guard medical teams will likewise be deployed to assist travelers.

The agency continues to remind the public to remain vigilant, follow safety protocols, and cooperate with local authorities to ensure a safe travel experience during Undas.
