Patients evacuated after Mindanao earthquake return to Hospitals

Patients who were evacuated from several hospitals in Sarangani following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Mindanao have already returned to their respective medical facilities.

According to the Department of Health (DOH), most patients are now back inside hospital buildings.

However, some patients remain in temporary facilities while authorities continue to assess and ensure the structural integrity of affected buildings.

Meanwhile, DOH Secretary Teodoro Herbosa assured the public that adequate manpower remains available in hospitals.

He added that facilities requiring additional personnel support will be assisted by the Philippine Emergency Medical Assistance Team to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
