Passenger volume at NAIA expected to reach 2.55M

The number of passengers traveling through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is expected to reach around 2.55 million from December 20, 2025 to January 5, 2026.

In an advisory, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said it anticipates about 13,700 flights during the holiday season, with Terminal 3 handling the largest share of travelers among the three terminals.

According to NNIC, the highest single-day passenger volume in the airport’s history was recorded on Saturday, December 20, when 171,306 passengers passed through NAIA.

At present, airport management said the influx of travelers continues, alongside heightened and strengthened NAIA operations throughout the holiday season.
