Palace says no ICC warrant confirmed for Sen. Dela Rosa

Malacañang clarified it has not received any notice or confirmation regarding an alleged arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

The statement came after several personalities, including former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, publicly claimed they had information about a supposed ICC warrant. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said even the ICC itself has not confirmed whether any arrest order exists.

She said the public should wait for official communication to determine if a warrant will indeed be issued.

The Palace also responded to remarks from Sen. Robin Padilla, who advised Dela Rosa not to surrender should a warrant be released. Castro said no one should be encouraged to evade the law, adding that such comments reflect a refusal to follow legal processes, especially if an arrest order is valid.
