Authorities seized more than P31 million worth of suspected shabu in three separate police operations on Sunday, May 18, in Bacolod City.
The first operation took place at around 2:15 a.m. inside a subdivision in Barangay Estefania. Police confiscated approximately 2,500 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P17 million from a suspect identified as Alias Jom.
At 3:52 a.m. the same day, another suspect, Alias Robert, was arrested in Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2. Seized from him was about 1,000 grams of shabu valued at P6.8 million.
Later that afternoon, at around 3:21 p.m., a female suspect identified as Alias Cherry was caught in a buy-bust operation in Purok Hollow Blocks, Barangay Singcang Airport. Authorities recovered shabu worth P7.48 million.
All three suspects are now in police custody and are facing charges related to illegal drug possession and trafficking.
The Bacolod City Police Office continues its campaign against illegal drugs and said further investigations are underway.
