CAMARINES NORTE- Lusot nasa ikawalang pagbasa sa isinagawang regular na sesyon ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Basud, Camarines Norte nitong Lunes, Agosto 8 ang ordinansang magtatatag sa Basud Technical- Vocational Schools and Skills Training Center.
Matatagpuan ito sa lumang munisipyo sa Barangay Poblacion 1 sa ilalim ng Office of the Municipal Mayor.
Nakasaad sa Section 3 ng panukalang ordinansa na ang Basud Technical- Vocational Schools and Skills Training Center ay may mandatong magbigay ng Technical Vocational Education (TVET) programs sa mga estudyante na kabilang sa low income families, out of school youth kasama na ang Persons with disabilities (PWDs) at indigenous people.
Ito ay upang matulungan ang mga ito na maging produktibo, self- reliant at globally competitive labor assets.
Ang Center ay magsisilbing TESDA- accredited Assessment Center for acquired competencies sa TVET programs.
Magbibigay rin ito ng technical- vocational training para sa mga guro at curriculum livelihood track sa ilalim ng K- 12 Program sa pakikipag ugnayan sa Department of Education at TESDA.
Kabilang sa mga kursong i- ooffer ng center ay carpentry, bread and pastry, masonry, welding, scaffold erection, tile setting, heavy equipment operation, electrical installation and maintenance, organic agriculture production, agricultural crops and production, animal production, animal health care and management at dressmaking.
Ang iba pang technical courses na hindi kasama sa listahan pero mayroong “high” demand for local and foreign employment ay maaaring buksan ng school management basta’t mayroong resources ang LGU.
