NGCP Assures Quick Response in Case of Storm-Related Power Disruptions

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has ensured the readiness of power transmission lines ahead of the expected landfall of Typhoon Ramil.

According to NGCP, preparations have been implemented to address the possible impact of the typhoon on transmission operations and facilities.

These preparations include ensuring the reliability of communications equipment, the availability of hardware materials, and necessary supplies for facility repairs.

Line crews have also been pre-positioned in strategic areas to immediately facilitate restoration work if needed.
