A man was shot dead in the head while playing at a computer shop in Sitio Bugnay 3, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16.
The victim, identified only by the alias “JR,” was a resident of Sitio Bugnay 1 in the same barangay, according to police reports.
Footage from a CCTV camera showed JR seated near the shop’s entrance when an unidentified man wearing a jacket and helmet entered. Without warning, the gunman fired three shots to JR’s head, killing him instantly. The suspect then quickly fled the scene.
The Labangon Police Station said it received the report at around 2:30 a.m.
Authorities have not released any motive or suspect identity as of writing. The investigation is ongoing.
