Man found tied to post with ‘drug pusher’ warning in Cebu

Residents of Barangay Punay in Aloguinsan, Cebu, woke up in shock on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025, after a man was found dead and tied to a post in a remote area.

According to police, the victim’s face was covered with his own T-shirt. A piece of paper was attached to the post, bearing the warning: “WAG TULARAN DRUG PUSHER DRUG ADIK.” Authorities are still working to identify the victim.

Witnesses reported hearing four gunshots the night before the body was discovered but could not confirm if the sounds were related to the incident.

The Aloguinsan police are now conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of death and identify the individuals responsible for the brutal killing. Residents remain anxious and fearful following the grisly discovery in their normally quiet community.
