The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned content creator Yanna Moto Vlog to explain why her driver’s license should not be suspended or revoked following her involvement in a viral road rage incident in Zambales.
LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II said Yanna’s actions make her an “improper person to operate a motor vehicle,” citing her disrespectful behavior toward another motorist, which contradicts the expected conduct of a responsible driver.
The incident gained widespread attention after Yanna herself posted a video of her confrontation with a fellow driver, allegedly triggered by her showing a middle finger. The video quickly drew criticism from netizens who slammed her actions as aggressive and inappropriate.
Despite being the one who shared the footage, Yanna received intense backlash online. In response, she posted another video on May 1 in which she was seen crying and claimed she would apologize to the motorist involved.
The LTO has yet to disclose the date for Yanna’s appearance, but emphasized the seriousness of the case, particularly in light of her influence as a public figure on social media.
