A Low Pressure Area (LPA) has been detected outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
The LPA is located 1,830 kilometers east of Southwestern Luzon, with a slim chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Marce (International Name: Yinxing) is located 165 kilometers west of Batac, Ilocos Norte, based on PAGASA’s Tropical Cyclone Bulletin Number 27 issued at 11 AM today.
Marce maintains maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness of up to 170 kilometers per hour, and a central pressure of 965 hectopascals (hPa).
Wind Signal No. 3 has been lifted as Marce continues to move away from the Ilocos Region.
