Singer Kris Lawrence has announced that he is officially courting his former partner, Katrina Halili, after years of co-parenting their daughter, Katie.
The two separated in January 2014, reportedly because they felt they were no longer growing together as a couple.
For the past decade, their communication had largely centered on co-parenting their daughter. According to Lawrence, that arrangement eventually helped rebuild their friendship and rekindle the chemistry between them.
Their renewed closeness recently drew attention on social media after photos of the pair together in El Nido, where Halili celebrated her birthday, circulated online.
The buzz grew further as posts showing their sweet moments surfaced, including a letter from Lawrence expressing gratitude to Halili for giving him the chance to get to know her again.
