Kris Aquino expressed her support for her son, Bimby Aquino Yap, after he landed his first ambassadorship as an adult for a healthcare plan brand.
In a video shared by the clinic, Bimby highlighted the importance of affordable healthcare while also sharing his family’s experience in dealing with health challenges.
Bimby said the message was personal to him because of his family’s experience with his mother Kris’ health condition, for which she continues to undergo treatment.
He emphasized that access to quality healthcare should not be a privilege and that every family should have access to proper medical services.
Kris, meanwhile, expressed her pride in her son’s statement, saying Bimby spoke from the heart.
She also shared that she and Bimby have long discussed the importance of healthcare, particularly the need for Filipinos to have access to essential health services.
Bimby also said one of the lessons his mother taught him was the importance of taking care of one’s health at a young age to help prevent more serious health problems in the future.
The endorsement marks one of Bimby’s new opportunities as he continues to establish himself in the public eye, while Kris gradually makes her way back into the entertainment industry.
