CAMARINES NORTE- Isinagawa sa lalawigan ng Camarines Norte nitong Martes, Agosto 23 ang First Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee- Sub Committee on Fishing and Marine Environment Protection meeting sa Provincial Office ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) sa bayan ng Mercedes.
Dinaluhan ito ng BFAR Provincial Office personnel sa panguguna ni Provincial Fishery Officer Rolando Tiam at ng mga kinatawan mula sa Local Police, PNP Maritime, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at Department of Justice (DOJ).
Sa naturang pagpupulong ay iprinesenta ni Fisheries Management Regulatory and Enforcement Division Chief Ariel Pioquinto ng BFAR Region V ang structure at specific functions ng bawat ahensiya na na may kinalaman sa enforcement ng Fishery law at marine environment.
Batay sa structure nasa pinakataas ang National Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (NALECC), kasunod ang Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC), Provincial Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (PLECC) at Sub- Committee on Fishing and Marine Environment Protection.
Sa ilalim ng sub- committee ay ang iba’t- ibang ahensiYa tulad ng PNP, RMU, DILG, PLGU, AFP, DOJ, DENR at DOH.
Alinsunod naman sa section 2 ng Executive Order No. 41 series of 1992 ang mga bubuo ng Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee sa national level pero ay ang mga sumusunod pero hindi limitado sa PNP Chief at mga Director ng NBI, Economic Intelligence and Investigation Bureau, BFAR, Dangerous Drug Board, Commandant ng PCG, Bureau of Immigration and Deportation Commissioner, Customs Commissioner at Chief ng Operations Control, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.
Inisyal meeting pa lang ang ginawa kamakalawa at magkakaroon muli ng pagpupulong sa mga susunod na araw.
