Actress Kathryn Bernardo and Mark Alcala, mayor of Lucena, are being talked about on social media after they were reportedly seen attending a Sunday worship service on Sunday evening.
According to several netizens on X, the two were spotted at a gathering of Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) in Pasig.
Some netizens said the actress was not wearing a face mask and even accommodated a few attendees who asked to take photos with her after the service.
Others also speculated that those present at the church respected the pair’s privacy, which could explain why no photos from the event circulated online.
It can be recalled that the ABS-CBN star has long been known to attend CCF worship services.
Even before the pandemic, the actress had reportedly been spotted several times at CCF Main in Pasig together with her former boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
As of now, neither Bernardo nor Mayor Alcala has issued any statement regarding the circulating reports on social media.
No photos or any form of evidence have surfaced confirming that the two actually attended the Sunday worship service.
