Boston controlled the game from start to finish, building a strong lead early and never allowing Orlando to recover. The 31-point win sealed a 4-1 series victory for the Celtics.
This win makes Boston the second team in the Eastern Conference to secure a second-round berth, following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ sweep of the Miami Heat.
Orlando, despite moments of promise throughout the series, could not withstand Boston’s offensive firepower and stifling defense in the crucial elimination game.
