Iran says it will not surrender to Israel and the US

Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, declared that his country will not surrender to Israel and the United States.

At the same time, he apologized to neighboring countries for the attacks occurring amid the ongoing tensions.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, confirmed that at least 1,332 civilians in Iran have died due to the war involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

According to Iravani, the United States and Israel appeared to have deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, while Iran focused its attacks on military sites rather than civilians.

However, this claim contradicts statements from the United States and Israel.

The ambassador insisted that Iran does not target the interests of neighboring states and is investigating allegations that it struck non-military sites.

In an initial assessment, Iravani said the incidents may have been caused by the interception or interference of the United States’ defense systems, which may have diverted the strikes away from their original military targets.
