The International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecution has submitted a sixth batch of additional evidence against former President Rodrigo Duterte, related to charges of crimes against humanity.
According to a document released by the ICC Prosecution through Deputy Prosecutor Mame Mandiaye Niang, they presented 90 items of evidence against Duterte.
Of these, 32 are listed under the crimes against humanity-murder category, referring to barangay clearance operations.
Duterte remains detained at the ICC Detention Center while his case is being heard, related to alleged mass murder during his presidency, particularly in the implementation of his war on drugs.
The confirmation of charges for the cases he is facing is scheduled to take place from September 23 to 26.
