Honest resident returns lost phones to young woman

Margielyn Tabin, 22, expressed relief and gratitude after receiving her devices safely from a good Samaritan.

On January 25, 2026, Margielyn lost two cellphones in front of Gestosani Memorial Integrated School around five PM.
She searched anxiously while fearing the devices were gone forever, feeling helpless and disappointed by the incident.
Later, Renante Tapalia of Barangay Christianuevo found the phones and immediately decided to return them personally.
Instead of keeping the devices, he chose honesty, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and community pride.

The two met at Brigada News FM Lebak for the official handover, where Margielyn thanked him warmly.
